CT Lab is situated in Stellenbosch, near Cape Town, South Africa and employs 11 people. Established in 1994, CT Lab is a specialist company that focuses on providing its clients with specialised total solutions in the Power Quality (PQ) and the Insulator Pollution Monitoring (IPM) fields. The Company develops and manufactures electronic measurement and recording instrumentation for the above-mentioned applications. With an instrument base of more than 1400 and over 1300 accumulated instrument years of field experience, CT Lab has grown to become the largest manufacturer of Power Quality recorders in South Africa. The products are extended by services that the company provides around these instruments, where the customer purchases data (instead of instrumentation) and CT Lab takes care of the instrumentation and technical issues, thereby providing a total solution to the customer. The development of all the instruments is done in-house. Part of the manufacturing is sub-contracted to production houses, but the final assembly, testing and calibration is done by CT Lab.
