Power Quality Training content:
- Basic Power Quality training
- Instrument training (Impedo DUO & Vecto II)
- Software training (OspreyLite)
Get trained on two of CT LAB’s power quality recording instruments, the Impedo DUO and Vecto II. The Impedo DUO received IEC 61000-4-30 Edition 3.0 Class A certification, making CT LAB one of the first international manufacturers to achieve this high certification, while maintaining conformance to the National Energy Regulator’s (NERSA) quality of supply specification NRS048 (2010).
The Impedo DUO contains two independent GPS-synchronised power quality instruments in one, each with 4 x voltage and 4 x current inputs. It features an on-board GPS, high resolution colour LED display and multi-touch man-machine interface 2 x encrypted Gigabit Ethernet ports. The on-board HMI makes this recorder an ideal instrument to use as a portable investigation device or as a quality-of-supply recorder with high-end functionality.
The Vecto II is a single-feeder power quality instrument, and was developed as a spin-off from the Impedo DUO. This instrument is a single PQ recorder with the exact same functionality of the Impedo DUO, but without the multi-touch display. In addition the Vecto II supports PTP clock synchronisation and it has more flexible digital inputs and outputs than that of the Impedo DUO.
- South African regulation (NRS048)
- Power Quality data classified according to NRS048
- Analysis of NRS048 classified data

Osprey Lite is a software suite accompanying CT Lab’s Impedo Duo and Vecto II power quality instruments.
Osprey Lite connects to the Impedo Duo and Vecto II by LAN or WAN using TCP/IP based communication over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or a 3G modem.
Osprey Lite is used to:
Configure the instrument remotely by an Internet connection.
Download recorded data.
Display real-time data.
Manage data on the instrument (e.g. deleting unwanted data)
Manage the database on the local computer where Osprey Lite is installed.
View and analyse trends of parameters and waveform events.
Generate PQ and other reports.
